Psychedelic Womxn’s Circle

Archetypes, as popularized by Carl Jung, play a significant role in our collective psyche. Thought of as primordial and universal energies, they show up in our lives in stories, dreams, and expanded states of consciousness. They are raw energy expressing themselves and working through us, often coming up as images and acting in concert with our very own imagination. Mysterious and ungraspable, they ask us to pause and ponder the wisdom that they contain.

Psychedelic communities are in no way immune to the power dynamics of our current colonial-patriarchal-capitalist society. In fact, more and more stories emerge of leaders taking advantage of participants in their “vulnerable state” revealing unquestioned positions of power. We want to invite you to share experiences and dialogue on this topic, asking: How do we imagine and practice leadership and community responsibility in the age of spiritual bypassing and hidden ego trips? We'll meet in Alice's fancy castle and share some tiny cup beverages while conversing oddly with mushrooms. It is well known that psychedelic experiences can provoke sensations of awe and wonder at the natural world, a feeling of connection and even motivation to act environmentally. Through an interactive sensory exercise and group story sharing, we will discuss how psychedelic experiences have affected our relationship with nature, and have invited new understandings and ideas into our beings.
